There has quite a bit of ‘behind the scenes’ activity going on with the band. First, we have been writing and recording to produce our first album as Musical Chairs. It looks like there will be, (as like our cover list,) a wide variety of musical influences. There are some Celtic, Latin, folk, and rock flavors about the music. Soon, we will be adding to the music section of our website for a sneak-peek of some selected songs from the upcoming album. There is not an expected release date for it yet, but keep your eye on this web site for further news.

Second, we have acquired another member to the band. He is Phil Kramer who was a recent winner of the “Stars of Tomorrow” competition in January and is a member of Strolling Strings. He plays fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and bass. Not only does he play so many different instruments, he does it with a style and finesse that you must see to believe. His influences are mainly bluegrass, but fits right in with the Celtic, rock, and folk style in the band. In real life: he is a student here in Cheyenne.
